Articulation

Expressive Language

• Vocabulary Building: Label, describe, and categorize basic holiday-themed items

• Sentence Structure: Create sentences from individual cards or with a given word; increase MLU by building sentence complexity

• Telling Narratives: Teach story elements—character, setting, plot, climax, and conflict—using sequential cards

• Main Idea: Identify titles or summarize the main idea for each picture

• Pronoun Practice: Circle characters and formulate sentences using correct pronouns

• Verb Usage: Practice past, present, and future tense verbs; include plurals and irregular forms in sentence construction

Receptive Language

• Sequencing: Arrange cards in logical order using inferencing skills

• WH- Questions: Answer who, what, when, where, why, and how questions using prompt guides

Social Skills

• Emotions: Draw thinking or speech bubbles to explore what characters are thinking, saying, or feeling
