The Analogies – Double Dice Add-On Deck is a fantastic tool for helping students develop critical thinking and verbal reasoning skills. This engaging deck challenges learners to identify relationships between concepts as they complete analogies across a variety of categories.

With each card featuring a colorful photograph and four incomplete analogies, students get ample practice interpreting and completing analogical relationships—an essential skill for reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and problem-solving.

How It Works:

1. Place nine cards face down on the table.

2. A student rolls the double dice.

3. The outer die shows a shape—flip over the card with the matching shape.

4. The inner die reveals a number (1–4)—read the corresponding analogy prompt.

5. The student completes the analogy by identifying the relationship.

With 216 different analogies, students stay engaged while strengthening high-level language skills in a structured, game-like format.
