The purpose of this book is to provide structured comprehension lessons and vocabulary building for young children who either have not started talking or have minimal verbal skills. Every lesson is designed with a pictured answer for every question or statement. This allows the child to simply point to the correct picture. Numerous concepts, actions words and new vocabulary are introduced in the lessons. If a child does not choose the correct picture (answer) the professional should point to the correct picture and explain why it is the answer. Explaining the information, while the child is looking at the correct picture, adds that knowledge to the child’s memory.
